About
Sortune
A web app for managing your YouTube Music library. Browse playlists, listen to music directly in the browser, see your Spotify and YouTube music side by side in “All music”, export your library as a backup, and connect AI agents via the MCP protocol.
Or sort your liked music into playlists right here: tell Claude how, check the plan, and confirm.
Data sync delay
To reduce the load on the YouTube API, data is cached for 5 minutes. This means:
- Changes you make in YouTube Music (adding/removing tracks) may take up to 5 minutes to appear here.
- After 5 minutes, the next time you open a page, fresh data will be fetched from YouTube.
- Only music videos are shown (YouTube category "Music"). Regular videos are filtered out.
Music-only filter
Sortune only displays videos that YouTube categorizes as Music (category ID 10). This means regular YouTube videos — vlogs, tutorials, podcasts — are automatically filtered out, even if they appear in your liked videos or playlists.
Privacy
Sortune reads your YouTube Music library through your Google account and, if you connect Spotify, your Spotify library. It changes them only as you ask (playlists, tracks, likes and Liked Songs), never removes anything when it aligns or sorts them, and keeps only what it needs in its own database: your sign-in session and tokens, genre data for your tracks, your transfers and sorts, what Align did, the track lists “All music” reads (for at most 30 days), your sort chats (for 30 days) and your subscription status. When you sort, your chat and your tracks' titles and channels go to Claude (Anthropic). The details are in the Privacy Policy.
Spotify → YouTube Music
Move a Spotify playlist into YouTube Music: paste a link to a public playlist or upload the file Spotify gives you. Sortune finds each track on YouTube, adds it to a new playlist in your YouTube Music, likes it there if you want, and shows what it could not find, so you can pick the right video yourself.
Up to 100 tracks from a link
Spotify's public playlist page lists at most 100 tracks. For a longer playlist or your Liked Songs, upload a CSV from Exportify or the data export from your Spotify account.
YouTube's daily limit
YouTube gives Sortune a fixed number of operations per day for all users together, and every new track costs a search (unless it was found before), an insert and, if it's on, a like. A big transfer may pause and carry on by itself after the limit resets at midnight Pacific time.
Free and Pro
Your first transfer of up to 50 tracks is free, and so is “All music”. Sortune Pro ($3 a month) adds unlimited transfers, daily sync of linked playlists, and Align — by hand, or daily with Keep in sync. See pricing
