Refund Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This Policy explains when we refund a Sortune Pro subscription, how to ask for a refund, and what to expect. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every payment made on Sortune.
Sortune is free to use, and that is not a trial with a countdown. Your library, the player, export and sorting with AI agents all work without paying — and so does your first Spotify → YouTube Music transfer of up to 50 tracks. Sortune Pro adds unlimited transfers and daily sync of linked playlists.
So by the time you pay, you have already seen a transfer work. This Policy is about the cases where something went wrong anyway.
Within 14 days of your first payment we refund the full amount on request — no reason needed.
You do not have to explain yourself and you do not have to prove anything. Writing to us is enough.
This covers the first subscription payment. If the subscription renewed automatically and you noticed a charge you were not expecting, write to us anyway: where someone forgot about a renewal and did not use the service in the new period, we decide in their favour.
You can cancel at any time, and you do not need to ask us to do it: Manage subscription opens the payment portal, where you cancel the subscription or update your card.
After cancelling, access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. After that the account moves to the free plan: your YouTube playlists, past transfers and library stay as they are — only the Pro features stop.
Cancelling stops future charges. On its own it does not refund the current period — that is what the 14-day rule above is for.
If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays on for 3 more days past the end of the paid period while the payment is retried. If it still has not gone through by then, the account moves to the free plan, just as after cancelling.
A refund ends Pro at once: the account moves to the free plan straight away, without waiting for the end of the paid period. The same happens if the payment is disputed with your bank (a chargeback).
Playlists Sortune has already created stay in your YouTube account — we delete nothing because of a refund. Sync of linked Spotify playlists stops, and new transfers follow the free plan.
We reserve the right to decline a refund if:
- the request arrives more than 14 days after payment and the service was used during the paid period;
- subscriptions have been bought and refunded repeatedly by the same account, or by the same person across several accounts;
- the account was suspended for breaching our Terms of Service.
In each of these cases we will explain the reason in plain words rather than send a form letter.
Email newiqa@gmail.com from the address your Sortune account is registered to — the Google account you sign in with. Say that you would like a refund; that is enough.
We reply within 3 business days. If the refund is approved, the money goes back the same way you paid. How long it takes to arrive depends on your bank — usually 5 to 10 business days.
Payments and refunds are handled by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia), our payment partner and Merchant of Record. Your statement will show Creem's name rather than Sortune, and that is expected.
This means part of the process happens on Creem's side and is also covered by Creem's Buyer Terms. This Policy sets out our own rules in addition to those, not instead of them.
This Policy does not limit any rights your local law gives you. Where local law gives you more than is written here, the law applies.
