How to move your Spotify music
A playlist moves by link. Liked Songs or a big library moves as a file.
A playlist: by link
- 1Open the playlist in Spotify.
- 2Choose … → Share → Copy link to playlist.
- 3In Sortune, open Spotify → YouTube → Link and paste it.
The playlist must be public (… → Make public). A link shows only the first 100 tracks.
Liked Songs or a big playlist: as a file
Fast: a CSV in a minute
- 1Open exportify.app.
- 2Choose Log in with Spotify and allow access.
- 3Find Liked (your Liked Songs) and select Export.
- 4A CSV file downloads.
TuneMyMusic does the same.
Official: your Spotify data
- 1In Spotify, go to Account → Privacy and request your data.
- 2It arrives by email in 1–30 days.
- 3Upload the zip as it is.
Upload the file
- 1In Sortune, open Spotify → YouTube → File.
- 2Select Choose a file and pick the file.
- 3If the file has several playlists, tick the ones you want.
- 4Select Transfer to YouTube Music.
Sortune creates a private YouTube Music playlist with the same name and the tracks in the same order. It also likes the tracks on YouTube: Also like these tracks on YouTube is on by default, and you can switch it off.
How long it takes
- YouTube limits how many tracks Sortune can add a day — for all users together.
- So a big library moves over several days.
- Sortune carries on by itself every day. You can close the tab.
- Progress is on Spotify → YouTube.
Free: one transfer, up to 50 tracks. Sortune Pro moves whole libraries.
Tracks Sortune isn't sure about
They wait for you under Needs review on the transfer's page: pick the right video or skip the track.
